i have two bottles of juice i can't stand to use right now. one is 102ml of green apple and the other is 102ml of strawberry. i normally get 100% pg juices. this time i got a 60%pg/40%vg. they burn my throat so bad i simply can't use them. would steeping them help out any? they had a 30% flavor boost added to them. the flavor isn't even there really. i'm 3 weeks new to vaping so what exactly does steeping do for the flavors?

finally. I just posted about not being answered.

with that I have been steeping the two I got and one has got better. the other still sucks. I've never had a problem with throat burn till I got these two. the apple is amazing after I pulled the top off and have been letting it steep. the strawberry still sucks.

I placed several orders today from site supporters and several from sites that do not support here. it seems here that there are just a hand full talked about and every other site is poo pooed.

I tried a vanilla cupcake from ecto that is awesome straight of the start. I will work it into my daily vaping. I have a tank for each flavor I like, and several I change heaters on to try new stuff. i'm not cheap by any means, but it seems I get treated like I am on here.

I'm new at this too. I steep by removing the caps of the juice bottles and letting them air out overnight but not more than 24 hours. Then I place the caps back on, shake them and leave them alone. I may test one of these new flavors after a couple of days, but if it still doesn't taste right, it goes back to the steep drawer until they become vapeable to me. My bottles have all been 30ml or less. You've probably already ascertained that each company's juices do not steep at the same rate. My very first juices I still cannot vape, they've been in the steep drawer for almost a month. I think this is all trial and error, plus each individual's subjectivity.

In regards to the throat burn, I was testing a bunch of juices this past weekend (new and old) and I had my first experience with throat burn. My juices are either 50/50 PG/VG or 65/35 PG/VG. I'm not sure why I had throat burn--maybe it was the chain vaping? I rarely lung inhale, but I wonder if the few times I did (with an "ice" flavor if that makes a difference), may be the reason. For background, I was dripping on 1.7 mircocoil, on an IGO-W, with my innokin MVP, 3.7V, 7.0 power.

Do your flavors contain menthol?

I know that with the juices I mix myself that steeping is necessary. So from that standpoint, yes it can help some juices. However, if a juice is harsh, it may have to do with the amount of or type of ingredients they use that you may be sensitive to.

I've purchased both of the juices you mention from the company you're speaking of. I liked them so I got the concentrated flavors they use from the company they get them from and mix them myself to my liking. I mix the strawberry at 25% and green apple at 20%. Most folks on here suggest 14% and would say that my mix is too much. They both require steeping for at least a week. Regardless, neither is harsh to me so you just may be sensetive to the ingredients or pg or vg. Try steeping a few weeks and see if that helps. Can't hurt.

Steeping helps change the flavor for me, but never the throat hit. If it is too harsh it is either too high in nicotine or you are sensitive to PG I would guess. The best fix to save the juice is probably to order it in a much lower nicotine level or 0 nicotine and dilute it to your desired level. Have you tried changing your tank? Sometimes I don't like something in a clearo and put it in a carto tank and its great, or viceversa
