What's up everybody?
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoyed your holidays. I am new to the vaping scene as I am 21 but have been smoking analogs since 16. I have been analog free since the 27th of last month. The current setup which got me off (surprisingly) is a IPV D3 / Evic VTWO Mini and Tobeco Mini Super tanks for both running 0.5 Atlantis coils. Works great for a single 18650 and perfect for on-the-go.

Anyways, just wanted to do a little introduction.

Hopefully I'm not too late in entering the vaping world as August is coming around quickly....

It's not to late until it is to late. Welcome to the forum! There are plenty of threads talking about the deeming regs. that go into effect in August. Read and ask questions and prepare as best you can.

Well, thank you. From my knowledge and catching up, it's not a ban but just a hard regulation which requires lots of $$ for products to be certified? I may be 100% wrong, which there is a likely chance I am. But I will read up on those threads ASAP. I've watched a few videos from Twisted420 and talked to a few local B&W stores regarding what is going to happen and I guess there will be a 2-3 year window for products to still be sold?

Will read up on it though for sure. Gotta love vaping over analogs, that's for sure. Except with coffee.... But I got over that stage :)

We have the states as well were going to have to deal with.
True. Living in California, we were already hit with the new smoking age. Our governor is going in right now making a whole bunch of changes and passing a whole bunch of laws (smoking and gun control especially, but that's another topic). Regardless, I hope juice will still be around as I have no idea how to DIY and am way to new to even think about learning at this moment of time. Time will tell tho.

DIY can be as easy as mixing kool-aid, and often much better than store bought.

Many of the B&M are not up to speed on the FDA Deeming regs.

As far as it being a "ban" no it is not exactly. But it is in kind. There are many of us here on ECF who believe that few vendors will be willing to part with btw $300,000 and $1,000,000 per product. Note that if a small shop has just one line of e-liquids, with 3 flavors at 3 different nicotine levels that's going to cost btw $2.7 million and $6 million just to SUBMIT to the PMTA process, and there is no guarantee they will pass it.

Since the PMTA has been in effect...oh, I don't know, 1980? (correct me if I'm wrong b/c I'd like that data), there have been less than 5 products granted a PMTA.

YES, buy nicotine base. Buy mods and RDAs and RDTAs. Buy what you can now as the market will contract. That is not being read the riot act, I'll bet anyone here $1,000 cash, that the market is not going to look anything as it does now in 3yrs, unless the FDA Deeming is radically changed.

Vape stores in the retail market whether B&M or Internet based cannot stay open if they have the same 10 products to sell as 10,000 other stores.

Wow. Thanks guys for all of the information and replies. I guess the situation is a lot more serious than I expected. Well, if I was to buy a few liters of 100mg/ml nicotine base, what do you guys usually get it in (PG/VG ratio) and how much? Also, from where? If I buy a few of these, say 1-2 L, is there an expiration date and how much e-liquid will this last me?

Currently vaping Ruthless which is either 85/15 or 90/10 VG/PG. I have vaping high VG mainly as that's what I've started out on and never have vaped on high PG nor would I want to try. But, I have been noticing chest pains lately but I have read that it could be because of dehydration. I also got into a motorcycle accident on the 3rd as a car ran a stop sign and hit me, so my body is still sore which could be the reason.

Regardless, the main questions are: Where do I buy 100mg/ml and what ratio is the best or does it not matter? Will 1 L be a sufficient amount for me to make a good amount of e-liquid?

I currently vape anywhere from 2-4ml a day of 6mg.

Is there a pinned or sticky thread regarding the exact ingredients to make juice besides 100mg/ml ?

Do you have a recommended website?

Look in my signature. I order from Nude Nicotine and I order Armor v2. Amber glass and Argon gas on top of it for longevity. I'll be ordering $1,000 of it over the next 3 months if I can get it.

I have $1,500 in CC that I am going to be buying the goods with. It will not go to waste. You vape it and DIY.

Also, what about flavors. Will nicotine based 100mg/ml be banned along with the new regulations? Will flavoring and pg/vg base be banned as well? I guess I am limited on time so I might as well ask all the information now. Will be searching the forum in the meantime. Thanks.

One last question actually, how clean of an environment do I need to make safe, vape-able juice?

I buy in 500ml lots, 100mg/ml. I'm buying 100% VG, but you may use whatever you would like.

We assume 100mg/ml will be banned at some point, but don't know when. They are not going to allow it to be sold, if they are making a stink abt 0mg/ml e-liquid. It would not make sense. So get it while it's hot.

There are a lot of documents in ECF DIY re handling of 100mg/ml liq.

I think "clean" but not overly nutty. You do not need a negative air pressure lab with a hood. You mix it in... you vape it. But other than that you do NOT want any children, or animals around 100mg/ml.

We think flavors will be OK for now.

Lost me here. I assume it is related to how the nicotine base is stored within amber glass jars but the Argon gas lost me.

If I was to purchase this nicotine base, what is the difference between the original ( 100mg/mL Nicotine Base - Nude Nicotine ) versus the Nude Armor v2.0 (the one in your link). Is the standard amount to buy is 100mg/ml to maximize the amount of juice we can make?

Also, how much juice would say, 500ml of 100mg/ml nicotine base make if I use a 80/20 VG/PG mix at 6mg/ml to 3mg/ml juice.

    Thank you for your help.

    Somewhere out there
You will be diluting your 100mg Nic down quite a bit and you mix it In pG/VG. You can find flavors already blended so you just add in the flavor shake well and vape :) pretty easy.

    The basics are:
    Several replaceable battery mods
Several rebuildable tanks & or drippers
    Nic base

You can pick up VG/PG and flavors too but you need to get the above 3 things first.

So PG/VG as well as flavoring will be readily available even after the regulations ? Also, say for the tobeco super mini tank, will they still sell pre built coils or will I need to buy a tank / RDTA and build my own coils eventually
