Stiff Draw and Gap on 510 Cartos/Atties on Megalodon

I've been experiencing a very stiff draw on my Don for a while but just got used to it after a while until I went back to using my other devices. I was simple blown away by the improved airflow! I've been looking for ways to improve the airflow but haven't seen anything yet. Even if I don't screw the atty or carto down very tight I still get a very stiff draw. It has almost made the Don unusable... Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

Ok, to add the icing to the cake, No matter what carto/atty I use, I get about two or three minutes of vaping off of it and it shorts out. This is the third time one of my aw imr batteries has gotten really hot in my don (not the same battery, once an 18650, once an 18350). I'm afraid that it's going on the shelf until I can figure out whats going on...
Please help me!

I've figured it out. In my attempts to tighten the dual coil cartomizers I was using, I was somehow creating a short. As for the stiff draw, old atties and old cartos. I put on a new 1.5ohm vk atty ant it works fine. No more shorts or stiff draw.

Note to self, do not use old cartos and do not over tighten!
