Hey guys,
On my reo grande ive been rebuilding for maybe 2 months now. When i do a true 1/16 wrap i really tend to get some burnt tastes going alot of the times. The cotton wick that i get to fit in there is a challenge and often seems to kind of break in half after a couple days as it really is a very tiny piece of cotton. Im squonking like crazy and getting some great vapes here n there but i still fighting that burnt taste at times. Im using 29 gauge wire - ohms are only .8-1.0. --- its no problem to just go higher on the diameter with the wraps as they are quite satisfying and the cotton wick seems more sturdy but i was just curious what things i could be doing wrong on the 1/16 wraps. Its more now about the challenge then about the vape.
Lastly if i do get the tiny wraps right and want to experiment with sub ohming lower than .7 ohms i imagine its necessary to get a 20 or 30 amp cont discharge 18650 button top - Is there a brand thats popular - its been hard to find in the button top version - any tips ?
Thanks so much.
