Still on paper but soon to vapor

My feet and Lungs are dry but my Eyes are wide open, Thanks to all of you at ECF.
After some due diligence and research you have inspired me to change my behavior.
Thanks to your willingness to share your experiences, I have followed your posts, links and advice.
2 eGo express kits and some 12mg juice are on order; for far less than the little cigalike cartridge things the local stores might sell. Thanks for the heads up on skipping that step and for the link to Vapor Joe’s site you guys rock!

Barring an allergic reaction, I am one day closer to ending 35 years of a filthy habit.
At worst I am out less money than I could have been, but hopefully I’ll have some useable items to start filling my tool box and a greater chance at an enjoyable first experience.
If you see posts about “Toolbox” advice you will know I made it over the threshold. I look forward to getting one of those days off of analogs counters, they are inspiring.

Welcome Northmankato! My husband was from that area...been there several times and it's great country up that way!

I think you'll enjoy vaping, and it certainly is a healthier option than smoking! I LOVE vaping...I don't recall ever really "loving" to smoke. I did it initially to be "cool", then I got hooked. I didn't want to do without smoking, and the smell didn't really bother me while I was a smoker, but I really can't recall truly enjoying smoking the way I do vaping. Good luck!

Good luck to you! I can honestly say, that when I purchased my eGo starter kit, I did so without really thinking I'd quit analogs all together. Boy, was I wrong. Although I'm still smoking one to two a day, it's a far cry from the pack and a half I was consuming just a month ago. Stay strong, and keep yourself well supplied with with juice, and drink plenty of water! If you like the eGos, you should really check out the Vamo. I just upgraded, and wow!

It's worth all the hassle and learning about everything. I just started vaping again 3 weeks ago, while I'm not completely off the cigs completely I've maybe smoked 5 in the past 3 weeks. It's still hard to replace my morning coffee and cigarette.

As someone who's two months smokeless for the first time in 30 years, I think you've made a good call.
