Hi all,

Well, I've been vaping for about a month now, but still can't seem to get off the old cigs. But have cut down quite a bit!
Just wanted to say hi and thank everyone for a great forum, I've learned alot here. One important thing I learned was what a great place to order from was Steve at Puresmoke, what a great company to deal with !
As soon as I finally get off the old cigs, I'll figure out how to attach one of those cool banners on how long I've been smoke free and how much $ I've saved.
Thank again,

77vette

Just remember to give your self a lot of credit for cutting back. The next time you crave an anolog try taking a drag off of the e-cig then the next drag from the analog and continue alternating (I had to do that for a couple of weeks) eventually get your self to 2 drags from the e-cig to every one from the analog and so on. I found this method extremely helpful.
As for the banner go here Haqur's Smoke-Free counter fill out the form click on create banner, copy the BBCode into your signature

Thanks for link to the banner !

I think I'll try and post it to my signature now and hopefully it will get me on the road to finally giving up the old habit I've had for a long-long-long-long time !
I believe one of the problems with quitting the analogs is like saying good buy to an old friend thats been with me for the last fourty years plus. With the help of e-cigs and this forum I will make it happen !

I also ordered a penstyle. Been trying a Mini and a super mini, I'm hoping the penstyle will be the answer.....

I was smoking a cheap mini and never felt satisfied. I got a pen with usb and now i'm satisfied, lots of throat hit and vapor.

Good luck!

Best of luck to you! I kept smoking real cigarettes for about 2 months after taking up vaping. At first I wasn't smoking much at all, but it gradually increased. As soon as I noticed what was happening, I decided I just needed to get in the right mindset and give up the tobacco for good. So far it's working well. See below.

77vette - you can do it! But don't beat yourself up if you slide back a little bit either. I think the best thing about this was that I didn't feel pressure like I have in the past. I had some cigs around, and I could have one if I wanted to. The first day that I realized I had made it until dinner without one, I decided to see if I could push through the rest of the day, but I had back up cigs in case I couldn't. I will say, since you're on the road now, the first two or three days were the toughest. Once I got through that, I learned how to get through those craving moments with the e-cig.

Best of luck!
