i ordered a vv box
mod kit from mad vapes cant wait to try out higher voltages
So much have been said about the pros of using higher voltages. In reality, you'll be fine with 3.7 volts which you can get, or probably have already, with Egos and similar devices in combination with LRs and dual coils. I got my VV this morning accompanied with Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartomizers. I haven't tested it yet in the higher voltages. (I will when my other orders arrive which are in separate shipments and vendors.) What I did test was the EMDCC with my Egos. It's a very different experience in comparison with the atomizers that went with my starter kits, all six sets of them ranging from minis, 501s, penstyles to Egos, tank/cartridge, manual/autos. The volume of vapors is significantly more than what you get in smoking a real cig. So now that I got the idea, I'll probably stick with 3.7 even with a VV. I would think the advantage with VVs is being able to use 3-5 ohm cartos/attys by setting it to higher voltages. So a combination of 3.7V battery and LR/Dual coils 1.7/1.5 ohm should be fine, unless you want more vapor, IMHO. Of course, VVs and most mods usually have higher mah ratings and have longer battery life.
BTW, you need extenders for your VV if you decide to buy EMDCC or similar cartos. I thought one adapter (510-510) is enough. (Another reason why I wasn't able to test the EMDCCs with the VV mod. 501 cartos are on their way.) You need two. Otherwise, battery contact with the EMDCC will not be possible.
