Just jumped into my first purchase:

A VaporKing Ultimate Ultimatum Kit (manual)
A large variety of e-juice samplers from 3 different vendors
Some Volt 808 Cartomizers from Smokless Image

BUT...even before the order has arrived I am already looking for my first mods :D. I know from what I read that the 808 will quickly get boring so I'm looking at purchasing a bottom feeder and a VV mod for home use. After countless hours of reading I have found these:

Mini Reo

and this cheap little VV mod to try VV (Mad vapes variable voltage mod) + 808 adapter:

Variable Voltage Box Mod

Any comments on how those two would be good or bad first mod choices would be much appreciated

Welcome to the forum and vaping. They look like good choices from the feedback I have seen on them and there are a lot of Reo lovers here so you would be in good company. If you decide you don't like something you are trying out (pv's, juices, acessories, etc.) there is always the classifieds or the PayItForward group here to get rid of what doesn't work for you.

In fact I think there are a few REO minis available in the Classifieds right now.

Classifieds and swaps

I know from what I read that the 808 will quickly get boring
Objection in 3.........2..........1............

    in a cave, eh?
I believe your REO Mini hits at 3.7 volts. You might like the higher voltage of a VV mod, a 5-volt box mod or a REO grand running at 6 volts.

I'm not sure what kind of circuit protection they have on the MadVapes VV box mod, so you want to be careful if you're putting a low-resistance atomizer or cartomizer on one. You might also want to get the MadVapes voltage indicator as well.

I think i will get the VV mod before i decide on which REO to order so i can test my voltage preference ;). The voltage indicator is a wonderful idea, hadn't thought of that. Although, there probably will be a bit of a difference in the vapor due to the reo being a bottom feeder and the VV being a cartomizer mod. SOOO much to learn

I did a lot of reading on this thread and ended up buying both the 3.7 and the 5v. I didn't even try the 3.7 for 3 weeks because I was in love with the 5v. Then I discovered 1.5 ohm mega cartos for the 3.7 and using them equal now. Not a lot of money and I sure like them.

Good luck and welcome to ECF.............. Hig

I couldn't figure out from the first post, is this a bottom feeder mod?
