I have both the black stingray and the brass. Its not bad but you have the rebuild the switch. Switch is very sticky, I had to clean and use teflon spray to get it decent. I'm still not happy with it and its one of the few I just never care to vape. Mine was both purchased from fasttech. My friend has the original and the switch is so smooth. The only problem is, very hard to get the original. I still yet to find the original.

Biggest difference between the originals and clones. Not the material, or voltage loss. Sometimes the voltage loss is less in the clone, but the switch makes or break the unit.

i bought a jdtech stingray x black clone on sale for like 25 bucks and it should be in soon. has anybody had one? what is the difference between this one (usually 50 bucks not on sale) and the genuine one (like 150$ give or take)? from what ive seen from youtube reviews they are pretty similar. what do you guys think?
I've seen and handled some really bad Stingray clones , thin metal , crappy switches and threading . I have a genuine black copper Stingray and an Hcigar Stingray X clone and the two are very close in quality , even the genuine Stingray's switches need some work done to smooth them out however and the Hcigar's likewise but they are superior to a lot of the trash I've seen in the BM's here . I would say if you're gonna buy a clone stick with a manufacturer with a rep for quality clones like Hcigar or Infinite/SXK there are quality clones available but be prepared to do some work sorting out any mech be it clone or genuine .
