Just got my grand rebuild kit in today after super fast shipping and all from Rob. Got my Grand all built up after weeks of not having it and it was bomb. Then on way into work I drop reo on asphalt right on the RM2 and it wont fire. Im sad. RM2 does not screw into 510 correctly so one of them is messed up. Pulling the trigger on another grand but will have to ship this out in the meantime....had to vent to all my people! At least my girl has her mini working like a champ!

Argument for a backup: I am currently roaming around in Vegas, feeling pretty confident in reo #1, fried the cotton by accident. Reo number two to the rescue! I bought a camera bag that fits both, and a spare battery and bottle. It is a little touristy, but it works!

Ordered a LP grand, some new batteries, new drip tips, a new cyclone and an AFC cap. For the first time ever since I have been vaping, all of my tracking numbers showed out for delivery on the same day.... today. Well, mrs. mail lady decided she wasn't going to knock today and my Reo is going back to the post office.
Ok, not a jacked 510 or RM2, but still.

I used to always carry two Minis and a spare battery. Now I carry a Grand and a Mini if I'm going to be out for the day. I figure if I pop a coil or something, I always have a spare to get me home. In over a year of RBAs though, I've never popped a coil when away. But I'll never be without a back up.

So - what's bent? the threads on your atty or the 510 on the grand? a rebuild kit cannot help you, but another RM2 could - or - in true Trunker fashion you can bully it in there anyway.

If the atty threads are ruined, use another. If the 510 threads are ruined - then it's a trip back to Rob.

Supertrunker, I took my reo apart many months ago to have it power coated again by a friend. In the meantime I had ordered a rebuild kit to make it as good as new. Rebuilt it today, and I think I was pretty successful with the rebuild because I was vaping like a champ for about an hour...until I dropped it directly onto RM2. The RM2 is now screwing into the connector all wonky and not level. I tried screwing the RM2 into my fiancé's mini and it didn't seem to like that either, and I wasn't gonna force it.

Sending to Rob tomorrow. New Reo Ordered. My 3rd family member.

Damn bro, I feel for you. This is why I just leave my reo in my hand, I always know where it is and it's always at arm's length.

Well, IF they ever implement implanted RFID chips have them insert your reo in your arm along with it.

Sorry to hear that happened. Have you tried a good rba in your Reo? It might be just the RM2 that got damaged?

I think the RM2 IS a GREAT RBA. I will post updates when I hear from Rob when he receives the mod, I shipped it back today.

Kinda like Frankenstein returning to the mad scientist! He has the power!

So sorry to hear of your Reo woes, I read threads like this and I feel more justified in having more Reo's than any one person could possibly need!
