Stock flavors?

First off are most of the flavors straight or in PG?

In cooking you know you have to have certain items always such as salt and pepper and spices...

Are there DIY flavors that you need to keep at all times?

This all depends on your juice flavor preferences. What have you found in the pre-made liquids that you are drawn to?

I like apple, snickerdoodle and also black tea with honey but want to try some other stuff.. I want to stay away from tobacco flavors..

hmmm...that's a bit of flavor family variety. IMO it's gonna be a trial and error deal. Order flavor combos that you think you will like and with time you will find your sweet spots. I have a vast list of likes which gives me several must haves for me personally....and those must haves would not make it into my hubby's list.

hopefully some others that don't have such vast flavor family favorites will pop in and give a little better advice.

Not trying to threadjack here, but I have an add on question that may help with OP's question. What kind of ingredients would be a good idea to stock that aren't used for a specific flavor? For example, sweetener, bitter something or other I've read about a lot lately, etc. Or even add-in flavors. For example, I've heard a few people say vanilla is a must have for bringing out the flavor of other flavors. Does that make sense or did I just muddy the water?

I believe Kris you are looking for flavor enhancers

Yes...sweetener, ethyl malto helps smooth out flavors, bitter wizard, vape wizard, trying to remember some of the others....

Vanilla I have used the eliquid as opposed to the flavoring to help smooth out some flavors.....have not tried that with just flavoring.

I think Kris is on track.

For that range of flavors I would want a sweetener on hand.

I'd also keep FA's MTS Vape Wizard and TPA/TFA's Cotton Candy (aka EM) close at hand also.

For tobaccos I would add FA's Bitter Wizard to the mix and nix the sweetener.

Since I'll try nearly anything i keep all 4 handy.
