Today, the XXL Elegant has disappeared from the CigEasy site??????? I ordered my husband the new GO-GO which comes with 2 batteries rated at 1300 mah (same as XXL Elegant), but uses proprietary cartomizers which are much higher in price (but hold 3 ml) than the WOW Vapor4Life cartomizers that I love. I have seen on other posts that adaptors will become available to make it KR808D-1 compatible, but they seem to be already overdue - so not holding my breath on future compatibility. So now I have to chose between battery life (regular elegants are only rated 750 mah) and Kr808D-1 compatibility. Any thoughts or suggestions?

The XXL EE is great for it's long battery life - I get about 10 hours of pretty heavy vaping out of it.

The giant cartos on the Go-Go are really awesome; they last forever and I get huge amount of vapor from them!

I can't imagine ever bothering to use an 808 carto on my Go-Go, though I too would like to have an adapter just so the option is there if I ever wanted to.

Actually a 5pk of G0-Carts are only about $4 more than a 5pk of empty WOW cartomizers and hold 3x more e-juice per cart! The price may seem high to you in comparison until you actually try out one of these amazing GO-carts and experience the flavorful difference.

I believe your husband will be quite pleased with your purchase (lucky guy!):)
The Chinese New year is likely to blame for many delays across the board if you have noticed many vendors are awaiting back orders on product since last month.
I believe since these adapters are being custom designed for the GO-GO they should be worth the wait! Meanwhile, I am very impressed with the GO-GO so far as is!

(A review is in the works now)

I have a XXL 1300 mah as well as a 510, IMO I like the 510 better then the XXL. At first I thought I would like the XXL better and I do like the XXLs battery life better. I have found that the 510 makes better vapor and a stronger hit at least for me. I used the XXL about a week 2 charge cycles and it now sits in a box at home unused. It was a expencive lesson for me for sure!. The XXL does look better then the 510 but for me at least it didnt fit the bill. I just couldnt get a strong hit out of the XXL I found myself doing many primer hits to get what I wanted from my "E". I sure got tired out fast with all that sucking!. Others may like the XXL but for me I will stick with my 510. I guess I am lucky to have a large bank acount and I will keep buying new products in the hope I will find my "E" match!. Lucky I got 6 batterys for the 510! LOL

When it comes right down to it, the XXL is just a battery so it's only going to be as good as the cartos and juice that you use with it.

The Go-Go, on the other hand, is a complete system. Performance will still depend partially on the juice you use, but the cartos are really good; I believe they are a copy of the style of cartos that Bloog uses in their MaxxFusion line.

I wish I knew this before buying! that was a lot of money for a battery! I was useing the "gold carts" I still have 9 boxes left!. I guess I could send my XXL to a modder he may find a use for it!

Sorry to hear the Elegant batt is not working out for you Zorba1.

As griffin stated with performance particularly not getting a good hit has alot to do with the juice and cartomizer.

I might add that if the cartomizer is not threaded to the battery in such a way to allow sufficient air flow it can be like sucking a thick milkshake out of a tiny straw!

I have experienced this with some KR808D-1 auto batts with variants in air hole placement on the threaded battery end and the cartomizer when screwed on tight does not provide adequate air flow resulting in poor perfomance. I have never experienced any problems with the Elegant not making good contact with most KR808D-1 cartomizers with the exception of a few random Mega sized carts that were non Boge or Kanger.

I suppose you could always try the classifieds here and opt to sell your Elegant and Gold Label carto stash to recoup some of your investment? I love both my Elegant batteries and was at first dissapointed that the 1300 was going to be replaced with the GO-GO...that was until I tried ithe new GO-GO out and now am really loving it! :smokie:

Oddly enough the battery on the GO-GO is 1300mAh same as the Elegant however, the GO-GO battery lasts remarkably longer with continued use far outlasting the Elegant 1300 12+ hour range! It weighs only about 4grams more but seems lighter in hand and yet is shorter in length and wider in diameter by approx. 2mm.

Elegant 1300 battery Diameter = 14mm
GO-GO 1300 battery diameter = 16mm

SSV2 - do have a picture comparing the sizes of the Elegant Easy, Elegant 1300, the new Go-Go and a standard KR808d1? I'm intrigued by the Nhalers and their battery lives, but I like the analog size of the standard kr808s.

Thanks!! :)

Note:
Cones and cartomizers were omitted from photos to better illustrate actual size differences between batteries.

Below is an older photo I took of the two different Elegant models with a standard automatic 280mAh
KR808D-1 in the middle.

I am in the process of taking additional photos using a better camera for my upcoming review that will hopefully provide even better detail than my camera phone was able to capture in the pics shown above.
