Cool, does this red metallic scratch off? I like the metallic finish on my fury, I throw it in my pocket with my keys (I know, not ideal) but it doesn't really get scratched up (unlike the black paint finish, which is nearly gone on my regular batts after only 2 months). I tried scratching the rest off of the paint off today to reveal the metal underneath (which appears the same as my metallic fury batt), but some of it wants to stay put and using a blade to scrape it is leaving scratched up something fierce unfortunately....

Ultimate for me would actually be just metal finish regular batteries for individual sale. $14-$18 would be a nice price point.

And as for the new gear, the hype is starting to die down for me anyways, not that I speak for all of Go-Go nation, but a sneak peak might re-light that fire that once burned bright...

The black matte finish on the standard Go-go batts can scratch up quite easily if you're use to throwing it in your pocket with your spare change, keys or anything else with sharp edges. You can probably scratch of the paint with your finger nails if you feel so inclined? Not the case with the Red metallic finish on the Fury batts. It features a shiny glossy finish that is much more resilient to anything abrasive coming in contact with it. That was a deal breaker for me when we were coming up with design.

I wanted the Fury batts to really stand out and not just look like a longer version of the standard Go-go. A couple years ago we offered two variations of a standard sized Go-go that featured a similar non scratch finish. They were labeled as special edition Go-go's Cherry Jazz and Midnight Blues. I was really impressed with the finish and wanted the same for the Fury model. There was a Cherry Jazz special edition Fury battery in the works until we got the samples of the red Fury and decided to go with that instead because it actually looked better! I actually now favor my red Fury over the stainless and black now...it could just be the newness factor? Although, when I line up all three variations together my attention is drawn to the red! Go figure! Red is not even my favorite color...It just looks cool because of the smooth shiny finish.

Agreed, that would be a nice a price point for standard individual batts. Unfortunately, the cost has gone up to get our Go-go's manufactured now that they are made only by special order. When we do get the individual batts in stock the price will still be reasonable though not as low as they have been offered in the past when they were being mass produced.

I hear ya! I am so frustrated with Kanger and all the delays that it seems pointless for me to hype something we don't have a definitive ETA on. It changes from week to week. Just when I am ready to launch some sneak peaks of the demo's Frank informs me to hold off until we can get confirmation that they are ready to be shipped!
Right now Kanger is way behind mass producing Evods and Pro Tanks to the thousands of vendors and traders all wanting to jump on the newest thing to keep up with their competitors.

All I can say is this new addition is without a doubt the best I have ever tried within all of the prototypes sent to us over the last year. I want it to get here now because, I want multiple back ups for my own personal use!

Still nothing?

Imagine what it is like to be sitting here holding the "New thing" and using it everyday and not being able to brag about it! In addition to the frustration of hyping a new improved product that has not surfaced yet for Go-go Nation to try out for themselves! I look back at many of my old posts and cringe because I have made statements that it is coming soon....real soon! Only to learn that there has been another delay! As I vented out to mrcoolbp in my previous post it is pointless for me to keep hyping something that seems is taking forever to materialize! The only thing that keeps me going is that fact that I have at least the final product that I have been using now for quite some time and know it is going to be a hit. The fact remains - it is a specially manufactured product that we had designed exclusively for the Go-go. It has taken the back seat to mass production of evod's, Pro Tanks and T3S Tanks right now because that is where Kanger is making the most money on currently.

Have faith and be patient...This new addition will give both pro tank and evod a run for its money!

I do promise that I will be posting sneak peaks the second I get the green light!
