Hi

I got my new classic mydnite from Smokester today - I LOVE IT!!!:D
Good looking and enough vapour for a vapour ......;)
I'm a bit sorry I bought the 901B's now, even though they are good for starters and helped me & are still going strong, I personally prefer the Classic.

The stoopid question I have is about the 2 hole atomiser. I can't see any holes on it, although it produces more vapour than my cheapie no-brand penstyle it looks exactly the same ....

Hi Kate

Thanks for your help. I think I can see two holes on the atomiser but my eyesight is so bad I'll have to take a pic & enlarge it to know for real.;)

The interesting thing is the cheapie no-brand I bought is 4 hole! (Pretty sure of that but maybe ApO can confirm this by looking at his purple one?) It's performance today is poor regarding vapour. It might be on it's way out already8-o but I think it just needs a steam clean - I have been using it heavily and with some bad juice experiments too:oops:. Will clean it and compare the two then. Will report back later.

The mydnite battery & atomiser are interchangeable with the no-brand - so that's nice, but the carts don't fit & the mydnite USB doesn't work to charge the battery - bit sad about that! It screws on fine, but no flashing light.

What I like about the Classic Mydnite over the 901B's is the draw is much smoother - vapour production is a lot better so far but it's only day one - time will tell. I like that the battery & carts last longer.
However the 901B is also a good looker in the black & I still reckon it's a great cig to start with. It's nice and light to hold - more like a real cig in size & weight.

Someone on here wrote that a Classic would be better for heavy smokers (that's me) while the 901 may be better for lighter smokers. I'd agree with that.

However I think on balance I might be putting my 901B's up for market soon. I might retain one of them for back up - or for visitors to use (they not touching my classic!!:p) Poor darlin's have been with me less than a month.

Try getting some tweezers and taking the filler out of the full cartridges and swap them over to the empty Midnyte cartridges, that should work. Or you could squeeze the full ones that don't fit and drip with the juice.

Be prepared, vapour and draw might not stay so good as your ecig ages. The vapour from a new atomiser is not truly representative of what you can expect to continue because they are primed with something that lasts for a few days.

What seems to happen with esmokers is that some of us start off trying to replace cigarettes with devices as small and cig-like as possible. For those who carry on vaping we tend to realise the benefits of bigger devices, as you say, longer battery life and bigger cartridges. From what I hear the 901s are a good starter ecig, they are smaller than a classic and give good vapour. I dread to think how many people have been put off esmoking because of bad experiences with unsatisfactory super minis.

yes the purple one i have is a 4 hole atomizer Ruby. Mines still going strong but i may not have used it as heavily as yourself.
I got my midnyte up and running now and yes i tottaly agree with you it seems great atm, but i guarentee in a few days the vapour will drop off a bit.

I use my classics for home use as like Kate says, bigger carts and better batts.

I like my 901b still and i use that when im out and about, it's a better form factor if your vaping in public.

Give me a pm if you decide to part with any 901 spares tho ;)
