Store clearomizers spare head/coils

Lets say im using a CE4 clearomizer and been vaping Apple juice. but now that juice bottle is empty and im gonna switch to orange.
Then i switch the replaceable coil to a new one and fill the clearomizer with orange juice all good so far..

But is their any "golden rule" on how to store that Apple juice coil?

Just rinse it off to clean it then store it. You aren't going to really lose much juice and storing it clean means nothing funky can happen to it.

Just be careful that the orange doesn't crack it, I know some acidic/citrus do crack tanks. I don't use those anymore, so can't remember if they are the plastic cracking ones or not...

Second the vodka.. I use a pill bottle with about an inch and a half in the bottom or as much as needed. I buy the cheap stuff that i wouldn't normally drink. I let them soak for a day or two then pull them out with tweezers right into a tissue to blot them dry.

Pinch the wicks in the tissue between your fingers, blow them off and dry burn them. If i don't need to use it right away they get stored in a small Tupperware container until one is needed.

I have done this regularly, even switching flavors with not a hint of the old flavor. I have also found that the clearer the e-juice the longer they last between cleanings and in general.

No water, No water. It's like using a maple leaf, when you can use toilet paper. It may work but it's not the best.
Vodka will pull the old juice from the wicks better. i don't even rinse mine when they come out of the vodka bath.

You do realize that standard 80 proof vodka is 60% water, no? I give my coils a good soak in hot water and polident, followed by a rinse in clear water, then a dry burn. I save the vodka for cocktails...
