In this thread ccure posted a link to a chemical supplier that sells nicotine.
The link didn't quite work for me, but I was able to search for nicotine and came up with this:
Search Results
I got 9 hits:
(±)-Nicotine
L-Nicotine
N-Nitrosonornicotine
NICOTINE
Nicotine Ditartrate, Dihydrate
Nicotine Polacrilex, 20%, USP
Nicotine Salicylate
Nicotine Sulfate, 40% Aqueous Solution
N'-NITROSONORNICOTINE AT 1000 UG/ML
My first inclination was to go straight to the plain 'ol "NICOTINE" (4th hit) but I don't know. The first one looks more right - it has the health warnings, the poison label and is sold by the gram, as opposed to the ml. The chemical make up is: C10H14N2 - which Wikipedia says is nicotine.
Does anyone much more in the know than I am have any advice?
I know there are some on here with a chemistry background.
As I see it, even if the ban goes through, I would still be able to make my own if I had a nicotine supplier and a VG supplier.
I would, of course, be very careful and make sure I understood the amounts and mixtures very well before trying.
