I purchased a few bottles of concentrate from a vendor and all 3 of them arrived fine except one. They came in blue boston round bottles with the dropper inserts (not sure what they're called). The neck around the threading of one was cracked and the glass was crushed up a bit. I don't believe it's the vendors fault since it was packaged pretty well.

Is there any way to salvage this concentrate? Since some of the glass is nearly pulverized i'm worried that some may have gotten into the juice or may get into it if i try and transfer it. What could i use to strain it that wouldn't impart any flavor difference? Cheesecloth?

How was it shipped it 1st class it probably has $50.00 insurance. I wouldn't chance a very fine piece of glass being sucked into your mouth. Very remote I know, I just wouldn't chance it. Also if it's cracked your vendor will probably be more than happy to replace it most of them are really good about this kind of thing.

It was USPS Priority, $100 insurance. Honestly, for $4 it's not worth the hassle to file a claim.

I have used coffee filters. On one of my posts, someone said to suck up the juice with a syringe using cotton balls as a filter.

Thanks! I think i'll give the coffee filter a shot!
