Ok I hate to break this to you but this doesn't look like it's authentic and I'm not talking only about the button. The bottom cap proportions are different. If you look at the top of the cap where it screws into the tube. Also what tube is this? It looks like aluminium or brushed stainless and there is no logo. Is this something you modified. Lastly the button certainly doesn't have a hole on the authentic one.

its not one of my buttons bub:)

The main reason that happened is because if you are not careful on polishing you may end with this result. The hole inside button's head is very near to its upper surface and maybe get exposed if you polish very hard the head. It has happened to me but I threw out those heads

No Imeo never made buttons with holes, so this is modified. However look at this image from a GGTB button I modified to a flat head. I discovered that after I grinded it flat it did have a hole further in the metal that got exposed.

Now this GGTB button isn't finished but you can see that once ground the hole was exposed

bubber, this button doesnt vent because button's axis closes this hole. I dont think that the man made this button thought that the button could vent this way. It was just an accident and he couldnt repair it.
GGTS has already 12 invisible venting holes. There is no other mod out there with 12 venting holes and vertical ones so GG will not come to customer's mouth if battery exploded. We dont need more venting holes for sure

If it was an authentic button, the only I can think is that the customer polished the button too hard in a wheel and the hole get exposed. But you said that this button is thinner than GGTS's button so its not mine for sure
