Anyone ever mix two flavours together and end up with something unexpected?
I mixed a full flavour tobacco with a classic root beer and got a yummy spicy flavour that has hints of each, but is neither one nor the other. I can only explain it as a very exotic tobacco flavour.
Since the tobacco & root beer mixture was a pleasant and tasty surprise I thought I would try to tame down my really sweet and strong fruit punch.
I mixed the fruit punch with a mild pomegranate and got a nearly tasteless juice that is very bland. It hardly tastes like either and it is more mild than the pomegranate is alone... almost like these two flavours canceled each other out. This was totally unexpected.
Anyone else mix two juices together hoping to get a nice flavour only to get a result that was totally unexpected?
