So,

my first crack at DIY

just made 5 x 20mls of strawberry
raspberry
menthol
grape
watermelon

have to say they are all tasty as .... , i am really delighted with the results also made a mix of all the flavours above in one bottle minus the menthol it to is ace, call it fruits of the forest maybe lol

new flavours tomorrow lemon, butterscotch, cherry, root beer , grapefruit
will report on them also

DIY is the way ive enough juice for months now.

YAY! Congrats! I hope I have the same success. I am waiting on my DIY stuff to come now.
I already have my makeshift "lab" set up with all protection, syringes, pipettes, bottles, notepad, etc. ready. Just awaiting my liquids.

starting to make myself sick with diy too many flavors word of advice pizza, dill pickle, bacon, hickory smoke and waffle do not make a good combo can't get the flavor out of the atty no matter what i do.

Red those sound good! When you get half a chance, mix a little koolada in with that watermelon. Good stuff.

That's great! I love DIY! Three of my favorite flavors are concoctions that I have come up with. I have had a few failures, fyi be careful with jalapeno flavoring, lol. But it is awesome when you mix up something and it comes out amazing!

Keep up the good work! Also, you can post up some recipes over on the diy-recipe forum for others to enjoy!

Try a 3ml sample bottle of one of your fruits, and add a slight touch of menthol.
It adds a little pop, freshness, tough to describe but good.

hickory smoke flavor is probably not such a great addition to the atty... its basicly distilled wood smoke.... smoke vodka so to speak. Alton brown has a method Season 9 episode 3 thats worth watching to show how its made search youtube for Good Eats Season 9 Ep3.

I have seen that stuff stain more than 1 grill towel and imagine you will have the same problem in the atty (not to mention the carbon build up that would be likely) you could try cleaning in alcohol but I doubt that would work...

On the good side though, you can now try smoke flavored anything by just putting it through the atty... no need to mix the smoke in your juice!
