Strange flavor

I just received some new juice in the mail. The company mixes the juice to order. I tried a couple of them I received and they both seem a little strange flavored. I get the hint of what the flavor is supposed to be but I get a strong plastic flavor. Both of them are 18 mg and 60/40 blend with an extra flavor shot. Which is the same as I have been buying from the local b/m store. I put new coils in for both of them, so I know it is not a bad coil. When I filled the tank I primed my wick, filled the tank, and let them sit for about half an hour before I tried them to make sure the wick had soaked up the juice from the tank. The vendor didn't have many reviews but the ones they had were all good so I took a chance with them. Should I let them steep or should I be concerned since I get a plastic flavor from them?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Everyone's tastebuds are different and every flavor steeps a little differently, but in general, these factors can all increase steeping time:

1)Nic level. More nic = longer steep.

2) Amount of VG. More VG = longer steep.

3) Flavor shots.

4) Darker or more complex juices.

5) Bigger bottles.

None of those are hard and fast rules, just a starting point.

Keep in mind that unless your B&M also mixes your juice to order, whatever you buy at your B&M has probably been steeping on the shelves for at least a few weeks.

So don't give up on them yet, let them steep for a bit. See my sig for more tips.

There are several vendors - that many here love - that I find this taste in. For me I steeped, in a few cases it was cured - but in the others I just PIF'd them. It seemed to me that I must just have sensitive tasters to one ingredient, because I ordered a large variety of flavors from one vendor and the taste was in every stinkin one of em.
