Strange Issue Wismec RX200 and 200s

Hi Guys,

I have a Wismec Rx200 with a crown tank and Wismec RX200s with a Cleito.

I vape around 0.4 - 0.5 at about 50 Watts and always have done.

The reason I upgraded was because the RX200 was giving me dry burnt hits all of a sudden on new coils.

I have had the RX200s for only a couple of weeks and it's doing the same!

I prime the coils correctly and make sure everything is ok.

I have been into 2 vape shops and they cannot tell me why it's doing this, they say it's possible air locks?

Does this sound like a Wismec problem? I had the RX200 for about 6 months before this happened, and as I say after 2 weeks the 200s is now doing it.

Am I doing something wrong or can someone offer some advice?

The dry/burnt hits come after about 3 seconds on a draw.

I don't have/or used your tanks.
Don't think it's a mod problem. Your wicks are not moist. Are you using high VG juice? If so thin it with PG. Prime with more juice.
Ask your vender to explain Air Locks..

It's not the RX200, it's an atomizer issue. Check out the thread ghola1was linked to and you'll get some great info on it

Thanks guys, I have just put a new 0.4 coil in, soaked it with liquid over night, starting at 30w and slowing increasing.

I'll see how it goes, I've never had to do this before, guess I've been lucky

I guarantee your juice is too thick to Wick properly due to it being cold out

This is definitely an attie issue my v1 and v2 crowns get that dry hit feeling. But my biggest issue with the v1 on rx's is that it wiggles so the 510 on the rx is............ but I knew that before I got mine, hence why I got a v2 crown. I don't use uwell coils anymore in the v1 I've been using the coil art coils for the v1 crown. Really like the notch. Just got to prime it really, really well

I vape 70/30 in a Cleito with the 0.4 ohm SS coils at 55 watts ALL DAY and haven't had this problem.

I was talking to a person recently who spoke about the Cleito coils needed to be poled with a pin because the cotton is not porous enough. I don't use a Cleito so just information I ran across in my travels.
