Hey guys I've just got a few questions about some things I'm curious about. I recently upgraded from a 50w istick with no screen and an Atlantis 1 to a rx200 with the crown. The difference is unreal and for the most part I'm pretty happy with it.
Well right after I got mine a friend of mine also happened to pick up a crown. He's running his on a sigelei fuchai with .25 ohm dual coil in wattage mode. He runs his up around 85-90w all day long. With my rx200 if I run the crown much over 65w I start getting burnt hits. Both running between 70-80vg or so. I thought maybe I got a dud coil so I tried another of the same one and got the same results. The kid at the shop where I bought the setup said it's because the rx200 is more powerful than the sigelei. I can maybe understand that to a point, but a 25+ watt difference? Technically if both devices are running a .25 ohm coil at the same wattage they should be achieving the same voltage right??
What I am wondering is what kind of wattage you guys are running your crown coils at on the rx200? I bought a third .25 ohm dual coil to try just in case. I have yet to try the .15 ni200 coil either. I've yet to try the temp mode. What kind of wattage and temperature is a good place to start?
As usual guys thanks for the help/advice. I appreciate it!

I prime them like I've always done. I drip some juice down on the cotton inside and then in the holes on the sides of the coil. Then I install it let it sit for a while then take some primer puffs. I think I started in the 30s or so wattage. They seem to work fine but just can't take as much wattage. Either that or I've gotten 2 bad coils? I bought a third I still haven't tried yet but I could...

I prime my .25Ω coils by letting it lie in a puddle of juice for at least 15 minutes while I do other stuff.
Hole down and roll it every few minutes so the other holes get their turn :)
Then I install and do short puffs @ 50W for a while.
Then 65W for another while.
Then settle at 72W-76W for flavor.

I used to vape everything at 80W-85W for intensity but the juice keeps it's flavor through the whole tank at 72W-76W. 80W+ seemed to boil the flavor out by 1/2 tank or so.

Same wattage on RX200s, YiHi SX330s or SX 350J
I tried a Sig 150TC for a few days @ the same wattage and didn't notice any difference but YMMV

honestly I wouldn't stress on this, unless you and your friend has a bigger stick competition on who's able to vape at a higher wattage. If that is the case, ditch the crown and get an RTA, build a sextuple clapton coil and vape it at 200W...my guess is you're not gonna like it :)
I'm just curious and I'm the type that wants to make sure everything is working to its full potential.
