Strange issue with my chrome black apv

So I just got my apv(chrome black) newest one with long spring, etc etc,..

This is my first apv mod. I am using the joyetech 18650 batteries from HC, also purchased at the same time as the apv. Fully charged, RMS, everything is setup right.

My problem(at least I THINK its a problem), is when I fire any atty/carto/clearo, it makes a fluttering sound. It seems to hit fine, vapor production/flavor is normal, but there's a very obvious flutter to the sound of it firing. I've used all different ohm cartos & attys, all are the same. Say with this boge 510, showing 2.5 ohms, at 4 volts, it flutters when I hold fire. It isn't clogged or dry. I don't get it. Is this normal? Thanks..

Which setting was it on when you used the APV?

Does the APV use PWM to regulate the power? If it does, perhaps the "flutter" you hear is just the PWM being modulated at such a low width that you can actually hear the pulse. Are you generally vaping at relaticely low voltages/wattages?

Sunshine: I had it on RMS(LO2).

I vape 6-7 watts

If its the same as the Zmax 2 regulation, and I think it is, then it's normal. A slight flutter sound is more apparent with some accessories than others. With a Vivi nova you won't hear it. With some other accessories you will.

I think you hear the 33,4 Hz frequency of the APV ( I saw this frequency on a test ), like the Zmax.

As kiwivap said, that's not a problem at all, some people are more sensitive to this frequency sound than others.

If the vape taste is good, there's nothing to worry about

By the way, there's no better sound than an aty firing
