Strange obtuse idea for a mod

I found this old CO2 dispenser yesterday and when I picked it up I thought, this is ergonomic. It would have to be totally redesigned but I'd buy one just for the feel. Not an earth shaking thought but this thing is pretty cool. Are there any mods that kind of have a similar concept?

I saw that connector out the side and thought it had already been modded. A 14500 should fit in there, shouldn't it?
