strange sensation when vaping orange flavors

Has this happened to anyone else? It feels like it burns my tongue and mouth. Coffee flavors don't do this to me, neither do
tobacco flavors. New to vaping. Using a custom EVO set up. Love the flavor, but not the sensation. Quit analogs 3 weeks ago after smoking most of my life. Buying the coffee flavor in bulk, but the orange flavor thing is messing with my head a little. Anyone?

some flavors just don't agree with people, no matter how much you love the flavor in actuality, sometimes it just sucks when vaped...I have the issue with orange flavors coming off as tasting much akin to vomit...so it really depends on the person, as I always say, taste is subjective.

1. Steeping is letting it sit in a container to thoroughly blend sometimes the liquid will not mix up well so you could get a big hit on the nic or low hit, high flavor or poor flavor. I do DIY juice and I put the mix in a bottle and put it in hot tap water and go shake it every so often. But you can just leave it out and when you walk by shake the bottle. Steeping is like with tea or other foods and beverages. Kind of how when you make home made soup. It's always better the next day because it had time to blend/fuse etc.
2. But one other possibility is that you may be allergic to what they used in that flavor or it has a higher nicotine content.
3. Could be they added TH to that juice.
4. Also you may be ingesting the juice and not just the vapor. If you flood a tank or carto that can happen. Best to fill and let them sit a while before you take a hit.
