'Nite Fuzzy...headin to the Land o Nod myself..
In my dictionary, PIF means pay it forward. What does it mean on this forum? Someone suggested that people do this when they are dedicating their post to another person. Is that true? If so, thank you very much Utsuru.

You got it.
I won the last contest from StratoMyst so I only feel it right to pass along some good luck to other people and give them extra entries. Plus, you seem like an all-around great guy and I like reading your posts on the forums, you have a very interesting education background. I could learn a lot from you!![]()

Thank you very much, kind sir. I think we all can learn a lot from each other. As far as education, I'm one of those guys who thinks school is never out. When I was in the 7th grade, I put forth my belief that "I am here to learn as much as possible about as many things as possible before I am no longer here to learn them." I have lived by that philosophy ever since. Some people think I go too far. I said, "I have to know." He said, "And when you find out, what will you do with it?" I said, "I'll give it to anyone who wants it." (Ah, grasshopper, when the student is ready, the teacher will appear.) He said, "Problem is, these days, no one cares." It does appear that this is true for many today, but does not lessen my desire to seek the stars...

Actually, Lannie has played the game more recently than me. Instead of using the original board game, she and her ex printed it out on copy paper, then drew in their ships. When they got done, they tossed the paper and got out a new one. Is it possible we could do something similar with these silly computers? Put your X on the coordinates and I respond with "hit" or "miss." Hmmmm... have to think on that one......I haven't given up on the Battleship idea...
I've never had much "parental guidance" so-to-speak, my parents just kind of let me do my thing. I've always been on a quest to meet older, wiser and interesting people. For some reason I've always gotten along better with people older than me in terms of conversations that have any sort of meaning.
I might not be the most eloquent person here but it's still frustrating that a lot of my buddies in real life that I hang out with don't have a whole lot to say unfortunately. I guess that's why I go onto the internet so often as I find so much more interesting people than the ones in my boring town.
) One of my aunts told me, about that time in my life, that I was "the man in the family" and I took her seriously. Childhood had a way of not happening because someone has to guide this group of helpless hopeless penniless directionless walk-into-a-brick-wall types who rarely had their eyes open. I worked after school and all summer to get my school clothes and buy books. You have no doubt heard similar stories, but some of us choose to "never give up; never surrender."
