Hi.

I don't plan on DIY to the point of handling concentrated nicotine, but I'm a newbie who has spent a little too much money on mail-order juices that turned out to be too weak in flavor.

I noticed one site gives an option for "extra shot" of flavor -- is that something I can do myself? If so, suggestions on how much I can add to already-flavored juice? I see on this forum "use the recommended amount for that vendor's juice." OK. So subtract 50% for the fact that my juice is already flavored? Subtract 75%? Start by adding 25% of what is recommended into a 10-ml bottle of my regular juice then add a drop or two every time I decide a carto-full is boring? (I have larger bottles from the vendors, I use the 10-mils for mixing to get what I want, like pg/vg, WTA, weaken the nic with 0% juice near bedtime, etc, so I could do the flavor-shot mixing in small bottles.)

If I like 555 from Bloog, whose 555 flavoring might I like?

Thanks for any hints.

When I started vaping, I frequently mixed different vendor ejuices together (before I even knew DIY existed). Just did it to my liking, didnt use percentages. Im not quite sure what your asking above? To increase the flavor, you can buy the flavoring but it wouldnt be the vendors recipe. For example, something simple like say vanilla - you still have different types of vanilla (custard, french, icecream, etc) and then different companies (Capella, FF, TPA, FW, FA, LO, etc etc) so you wouldnt be able to increse it to the exact same taste. You can add though just wont be exactly the same in taste. For example, in my vanilla recipe, I actually use 5 different flavorings.

I'd say you are probably just going to have to experiment and see what amount works. As yorkiegirl pointed out, you are not going to end up with something that tastes the way the vendor intended, but you might end up with something you like.

What I would do, if I were you, is start small. Take 3 ml of your liquid and add x amount. See how that tastes and adjust from there. Keep diligent notes so that you know how to scale up when you find something you like.
