Get a bottle of your favorite juice in a higher mg. I keep one myself. It's been a little over a year for me and yes, I still get a craving now and again but just the thought of the nasty taste has stopped me. I vape my higher mg and the craving goes away. Hang in there and walk away...don't dwell on it...don't even think about it. It will pass.

I’ve been smoke free for 2+ years now and still get that craving that you are talking about. I believe that it’s part of our addiction, and there are times that we remember how much we enjoyed (or thought that we did) smoking. When I get the craving I turn to a strong tobacco flavored juice and crank the VV up. A few drags from a hot, burnt, nasty drag that makes me cough is enough to kill that craving. Keep vaping!!!

The last cig I had was on 11/15/10. I was down to only smoking one each day just out of spite. I was only going to go two weeks with out smoking any more and had 4 cigs left in my pack. I still have those 4 cigs and keep saying I am going to have one, I just don't know when?? Maybe after I get past the year mark (as I am so close) I will fire one of those bad boys up. They are probably very stale and nasty by now. I still get cravings all the time, cause no matter what I do vaping is just not exactly like smoking...... I have cut my nic level down to abt 6mg juice (I mostly mix my own) and I am now trying some zero nic too. All the while I was and am cutting back on the nic level I do definatly vape ALOT more than I smoked ( I was 1 1/2 pack a day) I do believe that the nic addition is almost beaten but the pure addiction of smoking something is far from gone.

I've been smoke-free since (see banner). Yesterday, I had a weird craving...so I smoked half a marlboro short. It tasted horrible, and didn't have that same rewarding feeling I remember. After brushing my teeth and washing my hands to get rid of that awful smell/taste, I picked up the reo and took a long puff and felt satisfied. For the rest of the day I did sort of have a "blah" feeling, like I was coming down with the flu or something. Slept that right off, felt great this morning.

I want to say it was more curiosity than craving, but either way I don't want to do that again.

I agree with many people - It's been more than a year for me, and I still vape on 18, with a bottle of 24 just in case. The smell of cigarette smoke has finally lost it's appeal to me several months ago. On the 4th, I tried a drag and the cloud of smoke was thick tasting almost like SUPER PG, and the taste was of burning leaves; not at all like the enjoyable smoke I used to have.
