Hello,

i'm newer to vaping (3weeks) and the purpose of my vaping is to quit using smokeless tobacco.

Started with an eGo and kanger protanks, already moved on vv/vw mods and kayfuns.

and the reason I stepped up in gear is because I stopped being satisfied...it's like my sense of taste has gone backwards since I started...and that's not good for my smokeless tobacco cessation.

then I picked up a bottle of captain jack at a local vape shop - I find the flavor super strong...problem is I don't like the flavor that much (it's kinda weird, as others on this board would agree.)

could you recommend a few flavors/brands that would be super strong in flavor (so long as it's not menthol?)

and one other question if I may - if I ordered in bulk from an online store (like mt baker) and added a flavor shot, would that substantially make the flavor stronger? For only $.75 on a 230 ml bottle, I'm gonna guess the answer to that is "not really," but that's just a guess.

thank you!

I would caution against ordering extra flavor shots. I've found that it can be counter-prouctive in terms of ruining the flavor or even weakening the flavor.

For big, delicious flavor, I would recommend Nicoticket and Bionic. If you like sweet flavors, I would recommend ITC as a more budget-friendly option.

You might also be getting a case of vapors tongue too, just something to consider.

With Mt Baker, some of their stuff is good, some not so good, and it is all made to order, which means that you need to let it steep for anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks before its flavor really starts to shine through. As to flavor shots with them. Someitmes it is a great idea.. adn sometimes it is a terrible idea, depends on the flavor and the VG/PG ratio. If you decide to go with Mt Baker, order flavors you think you might like, BUT order 2 or 3 bottle of each... 1 with normal strength, 1 with one extra shot and MAYBE 1 with 2 extra shots. If you find the extra shot one or double extra shot one to be too much or too weak, you can blend bottles to get what you want.

For example, if the regular and double shot are too much, but you really like the single extra show.. mix the two bottles you didnt like and they will be roughly the same as one you did like. Also if you find that some are too flavorful, you can cut the flavor down with unflavored nic juice.

-----

Btw dont discount menthol. Mentol vapes are different than menthol cigs. I hated menthol cigs.. but find there are some menthol vapes I really love.

to ecf cpa5oh. So glad you are here. It has been my understanding that the flavor shots do make them stronger. You also may consider getting into DIY because I have to tell you, I have been so pleased with making my own just the way I like it. If your juice is not strong enough, you could also buy some flavoring and add your own extra touch to make it stronger. Lots of things to consider. Continued success to you on your vaping and I look forward to reading more about you. Have fun.
