I posted this in DIY, but there's more viewers here. I'm going through a lot of the one flavor of liquid i have that's strong enough...

I'm using 70 VG/30 DW juices I got from Mt Baker. Even with extra shots, there's not enough flavor for me. I bought Super Concentrated flavors, alcohol based from VapingZone. Added a few drops of Apricot VZ to the bottle of Mt Baker Apricot I had. It's acting like oil and water, not mixing at all.

I can't find or remember who recommended doing this. Is it just the apricot? I'm not really ready for DIY (obviously) - I thought if it wasn't water soluable it would say so.

What am I missing?

I'm assuming this bottle of eliquid is trash now :(

PG will enhance flavor while VG will mute flavors so there's 2 ingredients or lack thereof that is messing with the flavor. Are you sensitive to PG? I once tasted some 100% VG from Virgin Vapors and it was very flavorful.

Alcohol is exceptionally light in comparison to the viscous PG & VG. If the flavor is mostly alcohol, its not going to want to blend well naturally.

Either shake the hell out of it often, maybe try a hot water bath and see if that'll help it blend, PG as its thinner than VG may take more kindly to the alcohol, or leave the cap off and let as much of the alcohol evaporate as possible.

For those following, I did ask VZ flat out if their concentrated flavors contained oil. The response I got to that was "They are alcohol base. I would think that 30% distilled water is too much and is thinning your juice out too much. VG takes longer for the flavoring the blend well. I use a 10% distilled water mix with my VG juice and it is plenty enough to thin out and work well with my clearomizers, cartomizers, atomizers."
