Hi guys,

Am still new here, only my second post.

I am now starting my 6th day free of a normal cigarette thanks to my ego. I am slowly getting to grips with my ego, but am still struggling to understand some things.

I have ditched the carts that came with it (5 prefilled bog standard carts), because the vapour, taste and throat hit was poor. I am now dripping direct onto the atomizer, which has rectified these problems, however i do get a slight gurgle for the first couple of drags that disappears after or if i tilt the ego upwards. I have read up on flooding, but not sure if this is the case as it does it with only 1 drop of liquid. Any thoughts???

I have decided that while dripping is fine for at home, which is 90% of the time, I want to get a dual coil cartomizer. I have searched around and decided that ecigwizard is going to the best place for me to get them from online, but not sure what to get. There is XL, XXL etc, and not too sure what will fit my ego. Does anyone have any experiences with cartomizers and can recommend any for the ego.

When selecting an atomizer or cartomizer from the ecigwizard shop, it also starts going on about battery power. Just checked my manual and it is a 4.2v lithium battery, will this affect the sort of atomizer or cartomizer i should get?

Sorry for the really long post (and probably asking questions millions have asked before) but i have searched for answers and can't find anything definitive. I'm proud to have gone six days without a ciggie, and want to be prepared for when my atomizer does eventually go, or I am out and about for the day.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

1. try not to over fill the cartomizer thats why it gurgles if you see a pool or it dripping from the bottom blow some out also be sure when you first fill a cart to let it sit for a couple mins to soak it all in on the first fill if not you will burn the filling in it (did this many times when i began).
2. the xl 1.5 ohm dual coils are amazing with the eGo just make sure you get the 510 versions so they fit doesn't matter if its xl xxl xxxxxl xxxxxxxxxl lol
3. yes the higher the volts the smaller ohm cartomizer i would get ie.. i personally wont put a 2.8 ohm carto on my eGO because vapor production wont be good at all in my opinion.. the lower the ohm the better (for eGos) but for something over 5v i would go with 2.0+

also just cause you put a flavor in your carto doesn't mean you only have to use that flavor with that cart you can wash them out with warm water just run it under the faucet then blow out the back flip it upside down on a paper towel and let it dry for a few hours if you fill it too soon the water left in it will make your flavor very weak. and remember darker colored flavors gunk up your carts faster so make sure you rinse well when putting in a new flavor clear ones are easier to wash out and dont leave residues as much. and the more potent the flavor the longer you will wanna rinse before refilling with a new flavor (i can still taste wintergreen in my cart and it has been washed a refilled 3 times this week)

hope this is what you were looking for :)

Edit: didnt see you that you were dripping on the atty..sorry.. in that case i would try and letting it sit for a sec after a drip or two maybe it will help if not try taking lighter slower drags after dripping

Ok, so i'm good to get 510 cartomizers, the lower the ohm the better.
and also dripping is just trial and error until you get the right amount?

I only use the one flavour so not too worried about that, just didnt want to go on a mad spending spree and end up with the wrong stuff.

Thanks TheZig

I'd suggest starting out with two drops and adjust from there. You'll find the sweet spot :)
