I'm also at 3 or 4 a day, but I have to keep reminding myself that's down from 20,40 to 60 a day at times for many years. I'm so used to so many years of failing and beating myself up that I forget to celebrate this huge decrease and just relax for a while. I just keep putting the tobacco cigarettes in more and more inconvenient places and keep the PV handy. It also helps not to take cigarette breaks with tobacco smokers. I also notice that I seem to want to smoke analogs when I'm outside but prefer vaping indoors.

Stormy,

If you notice most of the counters people have show the number of analogs avoided.
It can be a real moral booster. Figure 15-30 analogs a day really adds up fast.
If you do slip and have one it doesnt disturb the total hardly at all so that positive reinforcement is still there for your acomplishment. Most dont say they had a setback, but the ones that do say the analog tasted like crap and thats a good thing cause vaping doesnt!

I'm amazed how easy it is to stop analogs without the cravings from vaping. Beats the pants off the gums, pills, cold turkey....

I took down my counter after a slip up. I felt like a hypocrite. I think that was being silly now. Maybe I will put it back.

You shouldn't feel that way at all. Be proud of what you didn't smoke. No one is perfect and GOD knows smoking is one of the hardest things to quit.
When I first started vaping I was still smoking. It looked like a good idea but I just wasn't sure. Look at the stuff they have to help you. Most doesn't satisfy and people go back to analogs. It's more than just the nicotine. After so many years its like a ritual.
Light it up, hand to mouth, long deep draw, exhale and watch the smoke flow out......and usually your thoughts change to somehing else.

Vaping doesnt hit like an analog. Most people vape more hrs than they smoked. 8-o Some think this is bad.... The gratification is just slower.;) Someone posted the diff in drawing an analog and a vape. Vape doesnt go as deep, the concentration is less and overall less nic is adsorbed.
Most get used to this. Just takes time and your nic levels are actually lower. So...in all you've cut back your nic dependency level. Which results in the cravings being less severe. A few went to higher nic juice and say it gets there quicker so they vape less on higher nic. I can see reason on both counts.

I started with 36mg menthol. I smoked Salem Ultra lights. So, I looked up the nic levels and cut it way down with PG. But, I still craved the analogs.....!
I finally realized I was loosing the tobacco taste, I had made menthol juice to make that up. My next step was to buy lower nic to cut so I had more flavor, then find the strongest flavor I could in tobacco...ok......now this is working.

I'd say it's diff for each person and it's just a matter of finding what part you miss and fix it.

That's my take on it. Put your counter or quit date back up.
