So here's my situation. About 2 years ago I quit menthol analog cigarettes and moved to vaping. I started out vaping a blueberry flavor, then went to peach for a few months, watermelon for a few months, and then to menthol, which I have been exclusively vaping for the past 6-8 months. When I'm on a flavor I'm on it, and there's very little variation. The problem is the menthol just isn't appealing to me the way it was. I went and tried all my old flavors and they've lost their appeal to me. The only one that tasted decent to me was peach. I've tried probably 25 new flavors in the past month to find a new daily vape, and for whatever reason I'm having a real problem acquiring a taste for anything new. Where I'm at is I need some help. I've shared with you guys my juice history and where my tastes are at now. Part of what has kept me vaping, besides harm reduction from analogs, is the fact that I had varying tastes in the past that kept things interesting for me. Does anyone have any flavor suggestions? My absolute dislikes are coffee flavors, natural tobacco flavors, and cream or coconut flavors. I'm a fruit person. Help?

I am a bit reluctant to point to one particular juice so I will share my recent experience. I first used KR808 batteries and cartomizers that had a definite lean toward some tobacco flavor in each flavor I picked. Then I went to Echo batteries (808 also but not sticks) and lost my taste for strong tobacco flavor. While still using that setup I went full on with menthol from one particular vendor for about 10 months (with a few different other flavors of juice). From there it is now tanks and vv batts. I loaded up a tank one morning recently with that very same menthol that I liked so much and it was nasty. Change of equipment or change of taste I can't honestly say. I've been DIYing for several months and mixed up some peppermint and it just hit the sweet spot. I also purchased a predominately VG juice in vanilla - sweet spot again. Do you care for either mint, peppermint or vanilla? One of those might give your taste buds a break from the menthol. I personally do not care for blueberry flavor but for those that do I've read that it is the strongest of the fruit flavors.

Hope this helps and good luck with your search for a new flavor you really like.

Not sure I can be much help because I dont care that much for mint or menthol. However I have heard of similar situations with ppl who vape alot of cinnamon, or any one flavor for that matter. To that I can relate. If u have already ruled out any dehydration, and have used a tongue scrapper and a good mouth rinse, then a change up of flavors is proli ur best bet. When I suffered from this I asked around , and I had someone suggest SNOW from Blue Mist Vaping. Its hard to describe, but some say its like a gin and tonic. But its strong (i ordered extra flavor) and although I was not crazy about the flavor, it did help me get out of my vape funk, and it is one that mixes well with other fruit flavors. Cinnamon and menthols are such strong flavors thats its hard to find other flavors that can compete. The best thing to do is find something vapeable outside your comfort zone and give your buds a couple days to recover. If push comes to shove u can always vape plain nic juice as well.

Then when u go back to your "all day vape" it should return to its former glory, or possibly u will find a other fav!
Hope this helps! Good luck! :)

Hi Poisonowns, congrats on quitting smoking, and welcome to ECF! I was a menthol smoker for 35 years, and after I quit smoking (about a year and a half) I find that I too prefer fruit flavors for vaping, but did not necessarily in real life. Peach and apple remain my favorites, both with some menthol.

I would recommend exploring DIY juice? It is really quite easy, stick with small batches until you get the hang of it.. You know what you like better than anyone else. It is also significantly cheaper.
