Does anyone have input on fixing a manual battery that stays on even though the button is no longer depressed? It does shut off after the 10 to 14 second cut off time.

I did a search for previous posts regarding this, but didn't find anything that helped.....I knocked it on the table a few times and blew air threw it....

Might just be time to toss it, but wanted to see if anyone else has had luck fixing this issue....

Depending on the age of the battery, it just might be time for it to go. If it's brand new, contact CS and they might be able to help you out.

You could use CRC® QD Electronic Cleaner (05103) - Ace Hardware this stuff to spray on the button and allow it to seep in around the button, but it might short out the battery if you aren't careful enough. I'd say give it a shot if you are just going to retire the battery. It's good stuff to have for other purposes too, so everybody should have a can of it around.
