He's just repeating the garbage that is being circulating by those that have a closed mind to the facts of vaping vs the dangers from smoking cigarettes. Honestly those that are against e-cigs are doing a whole lot better job speading their misinformation to the public then we are in getting the facts of vaping and PVs out to the public. We need to be doing a whole lot better job.

Great point. I do feel somewhat obligated to educate my friend.

If you talk to him again. You might tell him to avoid, potatoes, tomatoes, egg plant, and both green tea and black tea..... they all have nicotine in them :).

To date no study has shown nicotine to cause cancer. There is one study that has shown a possible link between nicotine and increase risk of mouth lesions turning into cancer but even that hasn't been conclusively proven last I knew... there was also a study suggesting nicotine might actually help prevent breast cancer.

No need to debate with him yes duh of course e-cig cause cancer as well. You inhale nicotine which causes cancer, however, the risk you take while vaping is far far less then if you smoke a regular cigarette. No one knows what the long term effects are yet but I am pretty sure they are still looking better then If I would still be smoking regular cigarettes.

Nicotine is not a carcinogen. It doesn't cause cancer.

Ejuice can contain trace amounts of nitrosamines, but the amount of them is comparable to a nicotine patch or gum.

I second, third and fourth that statement. Nicotine is NOT a carcinogen. Nicotine is NOT a carcinogen. Nicotine is NOT a carcinogen. It's really hard to advocate vaping if even the vapers don't understand....
