Stupid Questions (SQ)


SQ1 - When, why and with what unit would I need a drip-tip?

SQ2 - Why are the Riva cones sold separately and what do they do?

SQ3 - Are both accessories reusable or throw-away parts?


please pretend you're answering my avatar, who doesn't know the first thing about vaping products, especially, on SQ1, k? (started vaping with a 7-11 and the terminology means something completely different, I'm guessing, than with ecf vendor products)

Drip tips are used for dripping on atomizers most commonly. Others, including me, use them on the top of a cartomizer to keep from burning lips...LOL. If you take the white plug out of the top of the cartomizer and replace with 901/501 drip tip, it looks nice and you don't burn your lips when the carto gets hot.

Cones for RIVA/EGO batts are mostly aesthetic, although some say they provide some added heat to vapor by enclosing the atomizer or cartomizer to keep heat from dissipating. They are sold separately, I think as they are not really necessary, and it is an additional opportunity to make money.

Both items are reusable, over and over and over again.
