The Mini will certainly be able to handle them (as long as the resistance is above .45), but there's no real point in doing so with a regulated device. You won't be able to hit lower wattages due to the Mini only bucking to 3.6v, and you can easily hit higher wattages with higher resistance coils.

In simplification, watts are watts and there's no real difference. However, lower resistance means using thicker wire which will take longer to heat up and cool down. You'll also have less surface area on the coil. On the higher resistance side, if using really thin wire you might break the coil if putting too many watts to it. Generally though, watts are watts
