Hi everyone,
I'm looking to sub-ohm at about .5-.9 ohms with my new mechanical mod and am wondering if the efest imr 18650 v1's will work. I've seen that vtr 4's are recommended, but will it be ok to use the 18650's I already have til I can get my hands on better 30 amp batteries? Thanks in advance.

You shouldn't be doing sub-ohm if you don't know amp limit of the battery you have. That would be literally playing with fire from a standpoint of endangering yourself and others.

Efest IMR
18650 (IMR/hybrid) 2250mAh 10 Amps
18650 2000mAh 10A
18650 1600mAh 30A
18490 1100mah 8.8A
18350 800mah 6.4A

Battery Basics for Mods: IMR or Protected?

Now that you have that information, do you know what to do with it?

Baditude,
Thanks so much; this battery basics guide is PRECISELY what I needed and should have looked for in the stickies before posting! For some reason, the efest batteries I own -- imr 1500mah -- aren't listed. The closest mah listed is 1600 mah.
Now that I have that information, I will know what to do with it in 5 minutes :) Thanks again for the help and guide.
