Jab,

If you like to tinker, you'll love it. If you don't, you'll find it a hassle; it always seems to need a new wick when you don't have time to fiddle with it. The good news is that the disposable (OCC) coil is very similar in performance to a basic coil on the RBA, so you can stick that in until you have time to re-build. You picked a great tank; a real break-through in tank technology and a good value as well.

Enjoy.

WElcome to the SUbtank. Its an amazing tank!

I have the original big boy on my Sigelei 100W PLus but I'm thinking of getting another unit for a to go/work one as its too big.

Maybe a SUbtank Mini and a IStick 30W?

I take the mini and an iStick 50W with me during the day. Don't have to worry about the battery running out. Always had to carry a spare battery with my IPV mini.

Thanks for all the replies my sub tank is on a sigelei 50w and I'm pleased with it so far leaps and bounds past my old riva/ego the only thing I need for now is another battery and a stand alone charger I get really nervous when that batt icon gets low and it seems to take forever to charge thru the rig itself so I guess I need the extra batt so I can just change and go

There's lots of information in the later parts of this thread:
KangerTech SUBTANK Mini | E-Cigarette Forum

pics of wicked coils, how to's, etc. take your time. when you get it right, with your fav juice, you will wonder why you didn't try it before. The taste is that good.
I started with the RBA and still haven't put on the OCC coils it is that good, and seems to last for a long, long time.

Sounds like my setup. The IPV mini is the backup for my iStick 50W. Keep some spare juice with me because I'm likely to run through a tank, but otherwise the same. I started on the OCC coil with my favorite juice and it gunked the coil up in two days. Threw some cotton on the RBA section and I've been vaping that way ever since. Only changed the coil once (used the spare they sent in the kit) and I'm 4 months using it that way. The OCCs are gathering dust. I may try to rebuild one just for kicks.
