ok went to a brick and mortar store yesterday and had a person there show me the spire Atlantis tank and was wondering why my battery would not fire it up it is a smart 20 clone of the eleaf istick do i need a special battery to run a sub ohm coil , very new to vapeing

IIRC, the IStick has a low Ω limit of 1. Anything below that, it won't fire.

A mechanical mod will fire anything. Most high power regulated mods will fire down to at least .3, with some going down as low as .1 ohm.

eLeaf also has a 50 watt mod. You may want to evaluate this model too. The Atlantis shines at 35-40 watts (for me).

The istick 30W goes down to 0.4 ohms. The 50 is supposed to be released on the 25th per the rumor mill.

Yea sorry to hear that but your clone will not be able to fire a subohm tank. I advise you if you wanna go that route get the new a real Istick 30w with that you will have a brighter future with lol. GL
