Subscription issue

I changed my skin preference to ECF1 and now I seem to be automatically subscribed to every thread I post in. I'll go to my subscriptions and have 20-30 that I have not (intentionally) subscribed to.

I must have changed something in my settings but can't find which setting it is, what do I need to change so I don't have to keep deleting these phantom subscriptions?

Check Settings > My Settings > My Account > General Settings

What does it say for:

Messaging & Notification > Default Thread Subscription Mode:

If it says anything other than: Do not subscribe

I think that's the problem.
