Does anyone have any idea whether Subsonic Vapes are legit?

I had never heard of them before, but I placed an order with them on Friday because they were the only place I could find the modthat I wanted.

I got an automated confirmation email but have heard nothing since (my card has been charged however).

I looked more closely at the website and noticed that their blog entries etc have not been updated since last year.

Is it possible they went out of business and their site is still up?

I already sent them an email but I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with them or has ordered from them recently?

Not this place but awhile ago I also found a completely legit place that wasthe only place that had what I wanted. I ordered and everything was normal. After a couple days I was concerned I hadn't gotten a shipping email.

So I started calling and no answer.

After about a week of no response I called the credit card company and disputed the charge.

All ended well for me. The website is down now. I'll never know what happened.

If I was you I'd call them and if no answer call your card company.

Not looking good. Took a look at their Farce, errrr, Facebook page and the last "update" was in 2014.

The domain was renewed in March of this year, though. If you don't hear anything back from them within the next day or so, I'd contact your credit card company.

Yes I did use the 'contact us' form.
No reply yet, but it was only around three hours ago.

I would have thought that charging my card must mean that there is still a human around, but it could be completely automated for all I know.
I'm sure these companies must pay a monthly fee to have their website hosted by the ecommerce company, so it seems doubtful that it would still be up if they are no longer paying their bills.

I guess I'll just wait a few more days and then cancel if I haven't heard anything.

I was pretty pleased when I found them, because the mech mod I want is difficult to find.
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to mention it here so I won't, but it's the clone that had the legal troubles.

Possibly a Sideline business for a working person. Often they are slower to respond. Keep on top of it and best of luck!

Shopping carts are generally completely hands off. They're usually tied in with a credit card processor that charges your card within minutes of you placing the order.

But the processor would quickly close the merchant account if they closed business. If it was a very low volume merchant, it might not be immediately obvious to the processor, but after several charge disputes and failure to respond, the bank/processor will quickly suspend activity. Not saying it can't happen, but I would first think of poor customer service first. However, if they fail to respond to your contact attempt in 24 to 48 hours, the better part of valor would be to call your credit card company.
