Subtank Mini, Canadian Winter and Dry Hits

What's up guys,

I had a long day at school and I wicked this morning how I usually do it:
with cotton outside the holes of the v2 rba as shown in this thread:
My way of perfect wicking of the Subtank. Trust me, it works every time.

I never had any problems with that build aside from very few dry hits back
when I was using Fiber Freaks #2 because I didn't know how much to stuff
in there..
I now switched back to Koh Gen Do (Puffs) cotton and it was working fine at
-7 Degrees Celsius... Today I was walking around at -15 and I was getting dry
hit after dry hit..
I'm seriously looking for a way to fix this.. maybe I put too little cotton in there or
is it really due to the cold and I should just wait to get a warm spot inside or stealth
vape away everytime I'm somewhere like school, etc.

What's your VG/PG ratio? You might want to try a lower VG juice. Try 50/50 and if that doesn't work well maybe try even higher like an 70PG juice. Good luck.

I vape 80/20 and I know this doesn't help but I don't wanna go back to 50/50.. I guess I'll have to stealth vape in the toilets lol

Ya sorry to say there is not much you can do about it. I know how it is, being from northern Saskatchewan.

One trick you can try is to make sure you are palming your tank section as too keep it from getting cold. I know it's not ideal, but it does help quite a bit.

Keep it in a warm pocket unless vaping on it?

My friend is going to knit me a little coat for my Subtank lmao, I will see how that goes
or maybe just switch back to 50/50
