Subtank Mini cleaning & taking apart

Hi guys I'm trying to disassemble my mini, I'm trying to get the glass bit off, I don't want to break it..
Does the airflow bit come apart too
Hope someone can help or give me tips

The airflow bit does not come apart. The glass will slide off the orings with a downward turning motion.

If it's on that tight, leave it on. Dump a shot of vodka in it, shake, done.

I was told to change the o ring as leaks a little.

Grip the glass with one hand and stick your pinky finger of your other hand into the tank, pushing on the chimney.

As for the airflow portion, just rinse it out. As others have already stated, you cannot disassemble that portion.

OK tried everything couldn't get it off. Put back together to see if it still leaks.

Try running it under hot tap water for a few minutes, it will help expand the glass and should pull off easier

Yeah, I tried getting mine off when I bought it. I dissemble every tank I get to clean it before I use it. I can turn it, but it WILL NOT come off. Had to just run some really hot water through it and dry it. I filled it with my favorite flavor and all I've done is refill it. Tried the 1.2 ohm coil first and it lasted 3 days. Put in the rba section and all I've done is re-wick it as necessary for the past 4 weeks.

Still trying to get it off, hands starting to hurt now.. I'm going to try a new atty to see if it still leaks...

I have the exact same problem with the glass not coming off. Actually, I have had quite a few problems. Getting a lot of dry hits. At first i thought it was cause the juice I had in it was like a 70 or 80 VG but I have a 50/50 in it now and I still get dry hits.

No dry hits here, I'm using the Occ coil 0.5. It's leaking from somewhere. Just can't work out where, so was gonna swap the o rings to see if that helps.

If the orings are so tight that the glass doesn't want to come out, I would imagine that it will not be the cause of leaking?

Maybe it was just a faulty coil head, or it wasn't tightening down all the way?

The tank will leak from the airflow holes if the coil is not installed tight...and yes, the glass is hard to remove the first time!!

With mine, it seems as the bottom oring is a bit off so it is causing some minor leaking. May also be why its such a pain to pull off. I'm using the .5ohm coil heads between 28-30 watts and every 6-7 hits with a 50/50 is dry. With 70/30 its about every 3-4 its. In all honesty I'm really not impressed with this tank.

Sorry, I'm pretty new to this. By re-wicking, does this mean just taking out the old cotton and putting new in and/or just leaving the build in the RBA as is and just installing cotton in it?
