So I have been using my subtank mini for the last two weeks fine no problems, outstanding vape. Just used stock coils. All of a sudden I get check atomizer from my dna 40. Thought coil was dead put on a new one but same thing. Tried it on a yihi device and it fired but ohms jumping all over the map. Tried rba section..same thing. Thoroughly cleaned the connections on the mini in a hot bath and cleaned my device pins. No change. What is going on? Did I get a dud or is there anyone out there with this issue?

I had the same problem with my new rDNA40. Both of my ST mini's worked fine on my original rDNA40, but one of them (with the RBA) would only get "check atomizer" when I connected it to the new one. I got a piece of 24g kanthal and fashioned a ring that I placed under the head of the screw that connects to the deck, lengthening it just a bit, which in turn pushed the 510 pin out just a bit. It was enough to make a connection and they both work fine now.

I don't know if you will be able to apply the same fix for the OCC heads, but the problem is most likely the 510 pin being too short. Finding a way to extend it, you only need about .5mm, should solve your problem.
