Subtank Mini Insulator

So, got my replacement tan insulators today!
So when I decide to try them on, NEITHER seems to fit on the deck.
I am wondering, what is going on with my tank? with the clear insulator it always had a short on my ipv mini, and the tan ones seem to be a different size than the clear ones, can someone help me?
