i have both of em - and like both - arctic requires a bit more power, dependent, of course, on which coil you are using in it - I am using the .2 ohm coil and vape it at about 55-65 watts... the Kanger is a great all around tank - works well for me with the .5 ohm coils at 18-25 watts... just started using the RBA after modifying it a little (drilled sides of barrel for better juice flow directly onto wick - there are a couple of vids on youtube about doing the modification) and enjoying that also... Arctic - somewhat better vapor production, good flavor, small tank (2.5 ml?)... Kanger - good vapor production, good flavor, larger tank (dependent on which variation) along with RBA option... also, with the release of the Kanger Subox kits, they look to have revamped the replaceable coils some, making them vertical and they have gotten good initial reviews (have one on the way, will field test it this week, hopefully) and those coils are, I believe, compatible with original Subtanks also... for me, I think Kanger is better everyday carry but enjoy vaping on the Arctic at home

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the Subtank Mini.

i honestly don't think you will regret it - i have several and like 'em (even like em more after modding the rba chimney cylinder - vaping on it right now and it's lovely - no dry hits, lots of flavor!)

now, that's not to say you won't end up with an arctic, also, lol... may want to take a look at the atlantis 2 also - though if you are using the .3 ohm coils, you will need a mod with some power - using mine at about 70watts, I believe

I have a subtank mini and I've been using my friends arctic. The arctic is a quality tank but I'm glad I bought the subtank mini. You definitely get your moneys worth with the subtank since it comes with 2 OCC coils, the RBA section, and 2 already wrapped coils for that. I'm not saying the arctic isn't worth the $$, you just get more with the subtank. I think some people aren't huge fans of the subtank because they think they NEED to run high watts. I'm using an istick 50w and I have tryed both tanks at 50w just for kicks and I have gotten burnt flavor from the subtank but I would never run it more than like 25w normally. My normal watt range for the subtank is somewhere between 14w and 22w. Some people think more watts = more vapor but that's not the case. I'm running a .8 simple 26g coil in the rba section at 22w right now and it's producing crazy clouds. Bigger clouds than the arctic at 50w for sure. I don't know if it's the juice or what but it's pretty amazing. I also think I get better flavor from the subtank at lower watts. So yea, you can run the arctic at much higher wattage but that only kills your battery and juice faster. Higher watts makes the vapor hotter too. I also don't like the huge drip tip on the arctic, the subtank mini drip tip is perfect size.
