hi guys, just got myself a subtank mini and started with the premade 0.5ohm coil.

firstly it states recommended wattage 15-30w. So i vape on 20w. I did not adjust the coil or cotton there at all but it kind of splashes tiny droplets of juice into my mouth when i draw on it.its not that im drawing hard, even if i put a tissue over the drip tip and fire, it shows tiny blue spots, the color of my juice. However, today i rebuilded the coil, and put more cotton. It had lesser splashes but started getting dry burn. When I look through the drip tip, i can see the coil glowing red. any idea why im having these problems? Now im back to using the rba deck of my subtank, havent seen any issue yet.

Its normal. Everyone has this problem in subtank mini stock heads, which is common with horizontal spaced coils. mine spit back like crazy when I got it til I rebuild with micro coils but u need to stuff less cotton to avoid dry hits with proper wicking.

Keep experimenting.

I recently rebuilt the RBA with vertical spaced coils (Atlantis style, chk out Rip Trippers method), now has almost zero spit back and very flavourful vape.

I am having the same issue too with my pre build 1.2ohm. What I did was dismantle...and blow into the hole which has cotton. Both holes...wipe off any excess juices...It seems to work after that...but the problem will come back later on...

Possibly the juice is leaking thru ur device orthe wick is not fully soaked. try to wick it with less cotton. A thick WAD of cotton will not be able to soak up all the ejuice goodness. check out youtube videos
and see if u are wicking the same as them. tht would solve the prob ^^ i hope...
