Hello

Anybody else having this issue? I've just got my subtank mini and tried rebuilding with the rba, 28g twisted kanthal tried 5/6 &7 wraps around 2.5 and 3mm, also tried varying the amount of cotton and all I get is spitting hot liquid in my mouth. I'm unsure as this build works great in my kayfun and its never had any issues, looking around on the internet there isn't much about the new chamber with the large wick holes. Has anybody got a good build on this Atty with a 28g build?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Micro coils tend to spit back more, I prefer spaced coils in tanks - especially SubTanks they wick better too.

Thanks il try a spaced coil and see how that goes, thought ild ask around and see what 28g build people have on this that work well because I don't wanna be building coils all day with negative results

I have had my tank for awhile and it always spits back no matter what I do but it's big brother doesn't. I quit using it as I prefer not to get burned by hot juice. I have tried lowering the watts and that didn't help. Does it with the pre made coils on me also. So now it sits with a nickel build and juice. I know it's not the way I build as like I said it does it with the premade ones also. Good luck with yours

Yeah looks like I just wasted my money. I love my kayfun but I hate losing that damn fill screw when im filling up after 8 pints, and it takes so much effort to recoil I thought the subtank mini would have been a good choice

Well my hubby was nice enough and he let me get 2 Squapes from the classifieds on here and they are the best. I don't have to worry about losing a darn screw while filling and I don't have any issues filling them like some do. I love the bigger Subtank that is why I got the mini as the bigger one I don't have one issue with spit back. I know some people have no issues while others are having the same issues we are. But I have a couple of orchid clones I think version 4 which the Orchid never even had those versions and I don't think they even look like the orchid and I hate filling them because of that tiny screw at the bottom and they leak out the airholes no matter what I do but once I clear the airholes they work great.

I mostly stay with the Squapes but hate taking them anywhere as I'm afraid I will drop them and break them or scratch them so just take the cheap ones when on the go..

Keep at it. Once you get the build down you will be good to go.

Pay close attention to not over/under filling the coil and make sure you have the wick fluffed against the holes. You want good wicking without letting excessive liquid in.

Good Luck

Thanks, I'm still experimenting with the wicking as to wick through the hole and cut outside of the chamber or fluff the cotton inside the chamber and push outwards to rest against the hole, no idea if it makes a difference because I havnt gotten past the spitting issue yet so more playing around is needed

erm layman terms? =p im new or pictures please.. ive been trying over and over still cant get it..
Managed to get it working.. Simply mote wick.. However it took me several attempts to figure out that you need a lot of wick! I mean that much wick that im twisting it through and having to disposition the coil and move it back after the wicks in.. That prime it heavily, try that and good luck!
